My name is Faith Yee and I'm currently a junior at The New York Urban Assembly Harbor School (2021). My Myers-Briggs personality type would be ISTJ (introverted, observant, thinking, and judgmental). My greatest weakness I would say is the lack of confidence in me at times all though I still push through. As of now I am studying Marine Biology in the Marine Biology Research Program as a CTE course. In the MBRP there are two choices one can chose to pursue and I'm working with GIS (Geographic Information System). The other choice would've been Independent Research. Some hobbies that I enjoy doing on my free time is art, I like creating things, painting, drawing, and designing. I'm more of a hands on person as it helps me experience more in an enjoyable setting. Besides that I have always wanted to travel the world for a career, bringing habitable living locations back cleaning up the oceans. Ever since I was younger I always admired coral reefs and over the past years they have been dying, visiting the Great Barrier Reef is something I plan to do but the bleaching and temperature rises are killing them. So as a career goal I would like to help in bringing coral reefs back restoring as much of the ocean as possible.
