Extra Curricular Activities

​

- Harbor Corps.

(Every other Friday would consist of a work session where we would help BOP with hands on work and a meeting session where we would talk about our CTE courses.)

- Student Council.

(Everyone would discuss what we could do to make the school a better/more comfortable place with surveys. We would also host movie nights or gatherings to help raise money and just have a fun experience.)

- Harbor Seals.

(Everyone would work in groups of your preferred choice if put in them by leaders to help work on the juniors/seniors research projects which teach us how to work with specific equipment. I was in the phytoplankton group working with microscopes, glass slides, and graduated pipettes where we would would have to count the different plankton we saw when looking through the microscope.

Volunteer Work 

- Billion Oyster Project (BOP).

(A bunch of us helped build oyster cages for the Hudson River in hope for the river to produce cleaner water riving it.)

- School tours.

(I would help show incoming freshman's around the school with other tour guides and explain to them what we do that's different from other schools, the experience that you couldn't get else where.
